In 2023, Shingler Group chose to support Midlands Air Ambulance as their Company Chairty. Over the course of the year, we have managed to raise £2,736 for the Charity, as a result of various events and fundraising activities, including:

  • Pancake Day Breakfast Sale
  • Jail or Bail
  • Bake Sales
  • Volunteering
  • Christmas Jumper Day
  • Christmas Raffle

Bake Sales and Volunteering

We also hosted a ‘Breakfast Club’ and Bakes Sales throughout the year, where members of staff helped themselves to a collection of sweet treats in exchange for donations to the charity.

Holly, our Sales and Marketing Assistant also took part in bucket shaking outside Strensham Services near Midlands Air Ambulance Headquarters.

Jail or Bail

The most notable event was Jail or Bail, which took place in The Dana Prison in Shrewsbury last Summer. Keith Sudlow, one of Shingler Group’s Contracts Managers, stayed the night as a Prisoner in the Victorian Prison and undertook a series of grueling tasks to raise money for the Charity.

After a series of live streams and Elvis impersonations, as well as a host of other fundraising activities Shingler Group reached the grand total of £2,115 raised from the event, which was more than double our original target!

Christmas Jumper Day and Raffle

Christmas Jumper Day and Raffle helped increase our donation amount, where members of our on-site team and head office staff wore their festive knits in aid of the charity. These two events raised almost £500 worth of our total amount!

Shingler Group would like to thank everyone who donated to our fundraising activities over 2023, from members of our team and members of the public, we couldn’t have achieved this figure without your generosity.

Finally, we would like to thank the Midlands Air Ambulance Team. This fantastic Charity saves lives every day and we have thoroughly enjoyed working with them.
