Meet the Aftercare Team

Matt Cadwallader, Quality & Aftersales Manager

Matt joined the company 18 months ago and is a fountain of knowledge when it comes to house building and regulations. His previous employments included project management of large residential and commercial buildings. His favourite Shingler Homes project to date is the Castle Keep development in Whittington, which comprises of over 50 houses and public open space and is in a lovely setting. Matt is an avid cricketer and a huge Newcastle United football fan, as well as being a family man.

Joy Evans, Customer Liaison

Joy has worked for the company for 5 years and is the cornerstone to the Aftercare Team. Her excellent communication and organisational skills ensure all remedial works are carried out quickly and efficiently. In her spare time, shes a keen crafter and likes to sew, as well as spending time with family and friends.

Dimi Mitkovski, Aftercare Engineer

Dimi is Shingler Groups’ longest serving Aftercare Engineer, with over 8 years’ experience in the role. Originally joining us from a carpentry background, he now covers a range of repairs specialising in fine finishes to masonry and carpentry components prior to and following properties being occupied. His favourite Shingler Construction project was a private barn conversion, where he carried out a lot of specialist fine finishing works, such as wooden flooring and fine tuning the surfaces to walls and ceiling. His spare time is taken up with his family.

Lloyd Harrison, Aftercare Engineer

Lloyd joined Shingler Group 3 years ago and specialises in brick and stonework. Previously, Lloyd lived in Canada where he carried out renovation works, with one of his favourite projects being a large stable in Calgary. His most loved project is Shingler Construction’s private barn conversion, where he carried out a complicated construction of a floating roof above the swimming pool. In his free time Lloyd is an avid music fan, and enjoys collecting vinyls and going to see live performances.

Wayne Moore, Aftercare Engineer

Wayne is the newest member of the Aftercare Team, joining the company 2 years ago, and specialises in carrying out complex repairs and fine finishes. He was previously employed by The Plastic Surgeon and his skills and expertise in this field have been a great addition to the team. Wayne’s favourite Shingler Construction project was a one-off 3 storey Georgian house constructed in Shrewsbury. He carried out various repairs and cosmetic tweeks to this property, inside and out. In his spare time, you will find Wayne down the River Severn in his kayak teaching paddle boarding.
