Shingler Group have appointment 4 new Mental Health First Aiders to coincide with our partnership with Lighthouse Charity. Keith, Owain, Matt and Holly recently completed their Mental Health First Aid training and are all passionate about offering support to those who may need it. 

Lighthouse is a construction specific mental health charity, focused on the emotional, physical and financial well-being of construction workers and their families. Shingler Group have begun partnering with the charity, to ensure our team have access to help and support, should it be required.

The construction industry is the most affected by bad mental health and has one of the highest suicide rates with two construction workers taking their own life every day[1]. It is our duty as a company to ensure that everyone is able to recognise the signs and symptoms of a colleague that is suffering from anxiety, stress or depression and start a conversation to assist in their recovery.
