Last night, we attended Shrewsbury Colleges Apprenticeship Awards Evening and took home two wins:

  • Medium Employer of the Year
  • Bricklaying Apprentice of the Year – Joe Shingler

We are so thrilled to have not only been nominated for the awards, but to win them too.

At Shingler Group, we are extremely proud of our Apprenticeship Programme, and are lucky enough to work with the fantastic team at Shrewsbury College who share the same passion for Apprenticeships.

We offer Construction Apprenticeships in Bricklaying and Carpentry to school leavers. Over our four-year programme, you will work alongside a Mentor on a variety of construction projects across Shropshire, from new build homes to restoring listed properties and more.  In your second year, you will begin attending Shrewsbury College to do a Level 2 qualification in your chosen trade, with opportunities to progress onto a Level 3, site team leaders, supervisors, managers and contracts managers as well as various technical construction back-office roles.
